Salem is a 13-year-old terrier weighing 27 pounds. They say age is just a number, and Salem is living proof.
Despite being a mature senior who has had a bit of a rough past, Salem has a soft soul and a heart that is still full of life. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but his initial caution should not be mistaken for a lack of love.
Once Salem realizes he is safe and secure, his walls begin to melt away and he becomes a deeply affectionate and loyal companion who wants to be close to his people.
Salem is searching for a forever home that can offer him patience, understanding, and unconditional love. He needs a family that will let him adjust at his own pace, knowing the reward is a lifetime of devotion from a very special senior dog.
